Isaac and Caleb's Obsession!!

LEGGOS!!!!!! :D I took the boys to the Lego store at Baybrook Mall before school started this year. They dream of going to Lego Land, a theme park in California, but for now, the Lego store will have to suffice. You can tell we didn't have to ask them to smile for these pictures!

Jacob

Here's some pictures of Jacob! :D

I love pee-wee football!

Check out these pictures of Caleb! I can imagine this 10 years from now, when he's sixteen! I figure if I have four boys, I should have at least ONE football player! :D

Isaac learned to ride his bike!!!

Ok, so I'm not the greatest blogger in the world....

Ok, so I started this blog with great intentions!! Obviously, my intentions didn't pan out. So many things have come and gone since my first blog so many months ago. Well, let's catch up. I'm going to basically post often for the next while to post pictures and happenings of the things that have been going on since March 2008. Here's a picture of our family on Easter Sunday 2008. I was 20-something weeks pregnant then.

It's a boy!!!

Hi there!! I have decided to start a blog!! Currently, I blog on my myspace account, but I think the blogs go into the myspace abyss after 10 or so. I've been blogging on there for years and how many of those are floating in the abyss??? So basically, I'll blog here and probably copy and paste for those loyal myspace blog subscribers too!!

Exciting news this week for the Nelson's! It's a boy! Yup, yup, yup. That's a total of FOUR boys now. I have to believe that God has a purpose for me to have FOUR boys. I mean, he didn't flippantly just think, "I'm not going to give Jennifer the desire of her heart, I'll just give her some boys..." He purposed to give me four beautiful, healthy boys. He may be so gracious as to share with my finite mind the reason for his purpose, but I may never know. Until then, I am learning to be content. I will never experience frilly dresses, pink bows, cheerleading practice, make-up, getting ready for the high school dance, getting ready for her wedding, and the birth of her children. You know what I will have??? Frogs in pockets, holes in jeans, grubby hands, warm smiles, adoring faces that bring me "flowers" (also known as weeds) from the yard, precious love notes tucked in my slippers (Caleb did this for my birthday), and many a "Bye Mom!" as they are older and head out the door. I'll never have someone to "be like me," but I am truly blessed with 4 amazing sons who cherish thier mother. God is God, and I am not, so what more can I say?
